Six pharmacies ordered closed

Authorities on Sunday closed down six pharmacies after several violations of the rules were discovered by a team of the licensing department of Jeddah Health Affairs.
“We have ordered these pharmacies closed because they did not follow the regulations of the Ministry of Health regarding renewal of licenses,” said Dr. Sami Badawood, Director of Health Affairs Management.
Inspections are carried out by Jeddah Health Affairs on a regular basis with the aim of improving the performance of pharmacies and eliminating violations.
