JEDDAH Chapter, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, setup in 1990, held its annual meeting at Hotel Jeddah Trident, which was attended by Chapter members, sponsors, and guests with families and top students of IISJ commerce faculty. Chairman, Syed Rayees, while welcoming members and guests reviewed the Chapter activities and commended the efforts of committee members during 2008 to provide quality technical sessions. He highlighted the visit of two managing committee members to Jaipur for the Overseas Chapters conference conducted by the Institute. He informed members of the Chapter's efforts to host a three-day IFRS technical session sometime during May and June this year. He thanked all the sponsors of the evening, and chapter members and committee members who worked tirelessly to make the evening a success. A raffle with over 100 prizes was held comprising products ranging from Air tickets, LCD, Laptops, gift vouchers, cell phones, wrist watches, perfume sets, gold biscuits and electronic items. Omar Saraswala won two tickets to Jeddah/Bombay/Jeddah. Ashfaque Ahmed and Ehtesham Chatriwala won Toshiba Laptops, Mohammed Gani won Sony Bravia 32” LCD. Each member was given Titan watch. __
