Unesco ambassadors from Spain, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Iraq, Malaysia, and Egypt enjoy traditional Hijazi folk dance Mizmar Monday during their visit to the old area of Jeddah downtown. The team's inspection visit has come after nominating Old Jeddah for registration on the Unesco 's World Heritage List. The city has been working to meet all rules and procedures to qualify its downtown for entry into the list, said Muhammad Al-Amri, head of tourism and culture at Jeddah Mayoralty. In 2008, Unesco proclaimed Mada'in Saleh in the Ula area as a site of patrimony, becoming Saudi Arabia's first World Heritage Site.
