King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has called for the performance of rain-seeking (Istisqa) prayer all over the Kingdom on Wednesday, March 18, the Royal Court said in a statement on Saturday. In view of the country's need for rain and in pursuit of Sunnah (Tradition) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Monarch called for rain-seeking prayer, urging all on more repentance, worship, benevolence and charity so that Almighty Allah accepts their prayers, the statement added.
