The Indian Cultural Society in Jeddah (ICSJ) has made its second appeal to parents of pupils at the International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ) for their donations of used texbooks following last year's hugely successful campaign. According to ICSJ president Arif Quraishi, the society last year collected over 14,500 used textbooks, of which 4,000 had to be discarded as they were in poor condition. The remaining 10,500 were distributed among needy IISJ students. Textbooks can be deposited at a number of locations around Jeddah.
