Omar Zaman, a relative of Zirjari who suddenly disappeared on Sept. 7, said that the victim's family and friends believed that he had traveled to Pakistan. But when they called the family back home, they told them that Zirjari never showed up in Pakistan. The victim, who lived with his four children and wife in Madina, had SR30,000 on him when he was killed by his fellow Pakistani, Taj. “It was a total shock for the Pakistani community in Madina,” Zaman said. Zirjari worked in Madina as a shopkeeper for over 22 years, Zaman said. Zaman and the victim's family and friends were at the scene when the divers recovered Zirjari's body from the well. “The murderer should be given the death penality for his outrageous and barbaric crime,” Zaman said.
