Sadd of Qatar and Al-Fehaheel of Kuwait secured their semifinal berths at the 11th Asian Clubs Handball Championship after edging Al-Sadd of Lebanon and Foolaz of Iran respectively here on Sunday. Saudi teams Al-Ahli and Al-Noor have already booked their seats in the semifinals after finishing on top in their respective groups. In the other matches of the evening Al-Noor beat Ahli of Qatar 29-26 to remain on top in Group A with nine points, while Ahli of Jeddah edged Al-Qadissiyah of Kuwait 27-25. In the semifinals Group A leader Al-Noor will play Al-Fehaheel while host and Group B leader Al-Ahli will take on Al-Sadd of Qatar on Monday. Despite missing one player in last 15 minutes, Qatar's Al-Sadd beat Lebanon's Al-Sadd 34-26 at the Indoor Hall of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare (GPYW).
