day meeting of the Arab Committee for Electronic Media began its deliberations Thursday in Riyadh. The meeting, formally opened by Dr. Abdullah Al-Jassir, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information, is being attended by representatives of ministries of information in the Arab countries and the Arab League. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Al-Jassir said the electronic media has become one of the most important media issues and noted that several broadcasting and television stations can be monitored by the electronic devices, SPA said. __
