The Al-Birr Charitable Society in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate has distributed winter supplies to 400 families in the rural complexes of Al-Wailiah, Ibn Hassan, Ibn Hadhal and Ibn Sabti to confront the cold winds sweeping through the governorate. Sheikh Nasser Bin Abdullah Abdul Kareem, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of the society said the aid included different foodstuffs, clothes, blankets and means of heating at a cost of SR1 million. He pointed out that free breakfast would be provided to 870 male and female students throughout the year at a cost of SR260,000.
