RIYADH — Round three of the American Express T20 Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association and sponsored by American Express saw thrilling encounters here recently.
Al-Kharaj League
Pak Shaheen registered a thumping 94-run win over Shuraim. Batting first, Pak Shaheen posted 293 for 6. Ishaq (138) and Ibrar (106) demolished Shuraim's bowling lineup.
Hassan picked up 2 wickets. In reply, Shuraim was restricted to 199. Zeeshan top scored with 56, while Vicky and Hassan added 38 and 36, respectively. Javed grabbed 2 wickets.
CKK lost to KFSH Blues by 5 wickets. CKK posted 178 for the loss of 7 wickets. Nouman hit 51 and Najeeb 31. Imtiyaz, Usman and Jabar took 2 wickets each.
KFSH Blues reached the target in 17 overs. Nadeem Babar blasted 64 and Nasir Abbasi 56. Nouman took 3 wickets.
Lahore Lions humbled Amer Holidays by 129. Batting first, Lahore Lions notched an astonishing 314 for 3. Qamar (71) and Asmat (66) scored fifties. Muzaffar (48) and Awais (35) batted well. Shahbaz took 2 wickets. Amer Holidays was restricted to 185. Samiullah (59) and Irfan (54) showed some signs of a fight. Amir took 4 wickets, while Nawaz and Armaghan bagged 2 each.
Diriyah League
AKCC Blue thrashed Delhi Dare Devils by 40 runs. AKCC Blue piled up 186 with Faisal making 46 and Atif 31. Ramzan and Yasir took 2 wickets each. Delhi Dare Devils managed only 146.
Mohsin bowled exceptionally for his 5-wicket haul and Usman got 3. Match between Challengers XI and Phoenix ended in a thrilling tie. Phoenix collected 174.
Rafiq and Haseeb scored 34 each. Samad grabbed 3 wickets and Thirumani 2. Challengers leveled the scores before running out of balls. Hassan smashed 65, while Shamroz removed 3 batsmen.
Nouman Gymkhana defeated ULCC by 126 runs. Nouman Gymkhana posted 293 runs. Shahzad scored a brilliant 135, while Mubashir added 52. Hassan picked up 2 wickets. ULCC fumbled to just 167 with Harisha scoring 65. Mubashir showed his skills in bowling as well, picking up 5 wickets.
Youngsters-XI defeated Riyadh Fighters by 28 runs. Youngsters-XI racked up 210. Abdul Rehman remained unbeaten on 78 and Yasir scored 40. Zahid scalped 4 wickets and Mehmood 3. Riyadh Fighters scrabbled to 182. Kashif blasted 88. Asif took 2 wickets.
Royal Strikers lost to Abana by 9 wickets. Royal Strikers made 135. Furqan claimed 4 wickets and Abu Baker 3. Abana was home in 8.1 overs. Abu Baker (62) and Shahbaz (60) scored fifties.
