RIYADH — Mobily has established the first “Toastmasters” club verified by the Toastmasters International Organization in USA. The new club will be located in the Eastern Province under the name: “Mobily -Toastmaters Eastern Club with membership No. (4901501) and it will be constituted from 36 employees from Eastern Province. The first successful meeting was held recently for all club members. “Toastmasters International” is considered as a non-profitable and educational organization aiming to developing and training the individuals to become leaders in their fields and having skills in the art of public speaking and leadership, through innovative methods and modern educational means to provide them a supportive and positive environment allowing its members the opportunity to develop their skills and refine their expertise and boost their self-confidence in the art of telling stories and share others with their experiences, enhance the art of listening to others and developing pre-planning and leadership skills. Faiz Awadh, chief human resource officer at Mobily, said, “We believe that our human resource is our cornerstone in growth. Therefore, we are keen to establish the knowledge sharing culture among our employees which complying with Toastmasters International Organization. Mobily is working to circulate this constructive initiative to become as the main culture amongst all employees and to be as a motivation for their participation. Moreover this initiative will be circulated to cover the rest of the company's offices and showrooms spread all over the Kingdom, in line with the Mobily's visions and efforts to develop the cadres skills through the implementation of developed training programs and courses.” The “Mobily - Toastmasters” club is the first of its kind in the telecom companies in the Kingdom, and it is one of the company's programs aiming to develop the professional skills of employees to get them to the highest levels of professionalism at work.
