JEDDAH — An ex- student of Indian International School Jeddah, Mohammed Rayyan Khalifa, secured the first rank with gold medal in the M.Tech examination 2015 from Vishveshwariya University India.
IISJ Principal Masood Ahmed expressed his deep sense of appreciation towards this young engineer and conveyed his congratulations and best wishes to Mohammed Rayyan Khalifa.
Rayyan Khalifa did his primary schooling from IISJ and his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) Branch, in 2013, from PDA College of engineering Gulbarga, and completed his Masters in Mechanical engineering, with specialization in “Computer Integrated Manufacturing” (CIM) from Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, one of the top 10 engineering colleges of Bangalore.
Nasir Khursheed, general secretary of Indian Engineers Forum Jeddah, spoke to Rayyan Khalifa over the telephone and conveyed his good wishes that expressed pride over his result, “With your perseverance, hard work, discipline and dedication you have gained all this today,” Khursheed told Rayyan Khalifa while asking him which factors helped him achieve the top position in the university,
Rayyan Khalifa said, “According to me to get good grades, it is important to pick the right colleges, as faculty members play the singlemost important role in students learning. I can tell you that you must choose a good college where faculty and infrastructure are good and supportive. Excellent Lab facilities and good library plays an important role. Dayanand Sagar is a good college and has a great infrastructure.
“First of all I am thankful and grateful to Allah Almighty for his blessings and after Almighty I should give credit of my success to my grandfather who has always been a guiding force for me from my childhood and I dedicate my gold medal to my grandpa Abdul Aziz Khalifa.
“My father believes that quality education is most important, and he did his best to provide me good education with his limited income and he taught me the value of hard work, discipline, time management, punctuality and dedication, and always said ‘Knowledge is Power'.”
Mohammed Saleem Khalifa, Rayyan Khalifa's father, is working for a well-known Group of Companies M/S Ali Zaid Al Quraishi & Bros. Co. Ltd., Jeddah, and is a promoter and supporter of quality education, who wants to see every child getting quality education.

Prakash and all professors and asst. professors of DS College who taught us with dedication & passion and I extend my special thanks to my Guide Asst. Professor Haseebuddin M.R for extending his quality support in completing my final year project.” — SG
