82 illegal expats arrested in Asir

ABHA — The police arrested 82 illegal expatriates in Ahad Rufaidah and Surat Ubaidah governorates on Monday. Asir Police spokesman Capt. Zaid Al-Qahtani said the police ran an inspection campaign in cooperation with the Office of Labor. The police arrested 69 Ethiopian expatriates including women and children, for violating work and residency rules. The police also arrested 13 other illegal expatriates of various nationalities. Capt. Al-Qahtani said the police also encourage the general public to report any illegal expatriates they come across.
