PACKED with cutting-edge gadgets at unmatched prices, the biggest names in consumer technology and a record number of prizes, the 25th edition of GITEX Shopper is set to be the best ever in the show's history.
Taking place from Oct.r 3-10 at Dubai World Trade Centre, organizers of the region's largest consumer IT and electronics show are planning the Middle East's biggest ever prize extravaganza with more than AED3 million worth of prizes are up for grabs during the show's eight days.
“This year it is impossible not to be a winner at GITEX Shopper — whether you're getting an unrivalled special offer on one of the more than 35,000 products on show, or are one of our lucky winners in the myriad promotions, competitions, giveaways and raffles being run throughout the eight days,” said Trixie LohMirmand, senior vice president, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). “This is a not-to-be-missed event for both local and regional technology enthusiasts and smart shoppers alike.”
Simply by making it down to the show on any of the eight days it runs, visitors stand the chance of winning a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series 2-in-1 laptop, while one lucky shopper will leave the show behind the wheel of the grand prize — a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero.
The ‘Scratch and Win' raffle gives visitors the chance to take home a wide range of Samsung products including the Galaxy A8 smartphone, 40 inch HD TVs, washing machines, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, printers and monitors.
Inside the show, visitors have the opportunity to celebrate GITEX Shopper's 25th anniversary by winning a Samsung Galaxy A5 smartphone every 25 minutes past the hour each day.
To add even more thrill to the shopping experience, visitors spending AED2,500 at the show have the opportunity to win one of three spectacular technology product packages which are worth AED15,000. Packages are: A business travel kit, a photography kit and a home entertainment kit.
Visitors spending AED5,000 and above have the opportunity to win a special 25th anniversary 25 gram solid gold coin or one of five ultimate travel packages to the destination of their choice — each package worth AED45,000.
For the first time ever, visitors have the opportunity to win half a kilogram of gold every day, when they spend AED500 and above. To participate in this daily raffle, visitors need to upload their invoices on the ‘Sweet' app, for IOS fans or android fans.
GITEX Shopper 2015 takes place from Oct. 3-10 and opens from 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. every day. Tickets are priced at AED30 per person with free entry for children below the age of five.
