JEDDAH —Egypt Consul General Adel El-Alfy with assistant Interior Minister and head of executive humanitarian mission Maj. Gen. Sayed Maher received 81 families of martyrs of Ministry of Interior at King Abdul Aziz International Airport Haj terminal. El-Alfy expressed pride and appreciation of Egypt to those who sacrificed their life for their country and its loyal people. The spirit of friendliness and the glory of the families of martyrs dominated the meeting with El-Alfy and the accompanying delegation from the Consulate General in Jeddah and officers of the Ministry of Interior Mission and members of the Humanitarian and Information Mission at the Ministry of the Interior during the meeting. Earlier this week Abdullah Mohammed Marghalani, director general of the Ministry of Haj Jeddah branch, in his office received El-Alfy as part of the annual visit at the beginning of Haj season. Marghalani and El-Alfy reviewed all organizational matters related to this season's Haj as part of the overall preparations completed by all serving sectors participating in haj and pilgrims services. El-Alfy expressed his and all the consulate members greetings and appreciation for the continuous support of the Ministry of Haj, Jeddah branch, especially during periods of Haj and Umrah, wishing all the best and success for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts. Marghalani has introduced new developments and preparations by the government following the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The coordination and cooperation between sectors of the state was complete to serve pilgrims. Marghalani emphasized the Kingdom's keenness on upgrading the level of service provided to pilgrims from the moment of receiving visa until they depart safely after the performance of rituals in ease, especially with the activation of the latest IT systems. El-Alfy expressed the appreciation of Egyptians living in the Kingdom for the interest taken in providing service to the pilgrims confirming the excellent relationships between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
