MAKKAH – A legal adviser called for swift action against an engineer, who was caught on tape beating up a number of workers here. The video clip went viral in social media. The engineer is working in the Grand Mosque expansion project. Lawyer Abdulaziz Al-Mushaiti, who saw the video clip, deplored the beating up of workers, also working in the expansion project. He demanded pertinent authorities take quick action and arrest the engineer, if the circulated video is genuine and true. He also demanded stern legal measures be taken against the engineer and whoever is tempted to beat up workers because this is inhumane. Those who circulated the video clip said the engineer's action humiliated the workers, Ain Al-Youm online daily said.
