JEDDAH — An American tourist who suffered a heart attack aboard a cruise ship in the Red Sea was rescued by border guards. Makkah Border Guard spokesman Col. Naji Al-Jihani said they received reports from the cruise ship Insiniya, which set out from the US Marshal Islands to Salalah, Oman, via Suez Canal. The ship reported one of its passengers, a 72-year-old woman, had suffered a heart attack and was in need of immediate medical attention. Al-Jihani said the Makkah Red Crescent was in contact with the ship and arranged for it to dock at Jeddah Islamic Port. The woman was taken to the International Medical Center where she is currently recovering. Insiniya continued its trip to Salalah.
