Many women become concerned about their body weight and shape when they have to attend special occasions such as weddings or parties.
There are several diets that could help women lose around 3 kg in less than a week, yet not all of them are healthy. Here are five rapid weight-losing diets to try.
The Caffeine Diet
For many years, studies illustrated that caffeine, especially that found in coffee, could make you gain weight. However, according to the Caffeine Informer website, a person could lose weight by consuming an abundant supply of caffeine.
A small group of Saudis tried this diet for five days. They only drank three to five cups of coffee with little milk. Sometimes, during the day they would drink different kinds of tea.
This diet will enable a person to lose around 3 kg in five days. However, it is not a healthy diet since the person is not allowed to eat or drink anything except coffee.
Some people also substitute the coffee with Diet Seven Up or Diet Pepsi as these drinks are said to be low in calories and contain caffeine.

The Cookie Diet
If keen on sweets, then this diet will probably suit you. Instead of eating a meal, the person undergoing this diet will only eat diet cookies bought in supermarkets, not ordinary cookies.
This diet helps lose weight. However, doing it for prolonged periods of time is not recommended. Doing it a few days before the occasion is recommended.
Diet cookies are high in protein and low in carbohydrates and calories. Some people struggle to follow this diet and so substitute the diet cookies for protein snacks.
People embarking on this diet should eat diet cookies at breakfast, lunch and during snacks. However, at dinner they can eat a meal low in calories, such as a small plate of salad.
One Fruit Diet
Eating one kind of fruit for the whole day will help you lose around 3.5 kg in a week. However, dates, mango, strawberry and bananas are prohibited.
Apples are recommended as well as grapefruit. Apples help clean the body, while the second helps increase a person's metabolism.
5-Day Fast Diet
People are recommended to drink only three cups of coffee and tea during the day without or with just a little sugar. This diet is a mix of several diets that Saudi Gazette has created to help people lose around 2 to 3 kg in five days.
The person undergoing this diet should consume 600 calories a day, including fruits, vegetables and two small portions of protein.
Before eating breakfast, the person should drink a small cup of hot lemon or three cups of warm water. The last meal should be had at 7pm and the person should exercise at least two times over the five days.
Cambridge Diet
This is a low calorie diet that can help a person lose 3 to 4 kg a week. Products that are high in protein should be consumed instead of meals, such as milkshakes.
Shops selling meal-replacement products are found in major Saudi cities. Dieters are recommended they only eat small portions.
According to an article on the UK's National Health Service Website, titled “Top diets review for 2015,” dieters are recommended to visit or contact a Cambridge Diet adviser.
The article explains that if the dieter is eating fewer than 600 calories a day, then he or she must take medical supervision.
Using one of these diets will help you lose a few kilograms very easily in a week and have a body that makes you confident to wear whatever you want in the summer and at weddings and parties.
