JEDDAH — The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) has shut down an unlicensed office in Jeddah offering help to make hotel reservations. The office was run by women who would telephone Saudi and expatriate clients giving them the impression that they could get them special discounts on hotel rooms. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Amri, director general of SCTH in Makkah Province, lauded the cooperation of Jeddah Police and the Labor Office in detecting the violation.
