The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) in cooperation with the Civil Defense in Jeddah has housed over 22,000 citizens and residents affected by the floods that recently struck parts of the city. Housing has been provided in more than 800 furnished residential units. Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Amri, Executive Director of the Tourism Development Agency in Makkah, said Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, the Commission's Secretary General, had personally supervised the housing of the citizens and expatriates displaced by the floods. Al-Amri said the Commission had relied on the reports of the Civil Defense for housing those who lost their identity documents in the floods. Al-Amri has called upon citizens and expatriates who face problems with the owners of furnished flats to contact the commission's office in Jeddah on 026420334.
