HOFOUF — A fuel truck caught fire on Abqaiq-Dammam Road, but the Civil Defense managed to avert a disaster. Eastern Province Civil Defense Col. Mansour Al-Dowsary said the burning truck stopped in the middle of the road obstructing traffic. The fire started in the front side of the truck and the Civil Defense firemen were able to extinguish it before it spread to the fuel tank. No injuries were reported and the truck was removed safely from the road allowing traffic to resume.
