Khaled Al-Faisal receives guests of Souk Okaz

Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah region and adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, receives the guests of Souk Okaz in Taif on Thursday. The 10-day event kicked off on Wednesday. Prince Khaled also announced the establishment of a new prize within the Souk Okaz annual prizes. It is allocated for pioneering works in the field of knowledge. It equals the Okaz Poet Prize. Meanwhile, Prince Khaled expressed his great admiration for the theatrical show “Naqsh min Hawazin” (Inscription from Hawazin) depicting the life of Lubaid Bin Rabiah Al-Aamri, a poet and companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him), from the Jahiliyah (pre-Islamic era) to Islam. — SPA
