I agree with the post "Nothing new in changes to transfer of sponsorship regulations" (Aug. 6) because the procedures are the same as before for the transfer of sponsorship. There have been no changes. The Ministry of Labor must take action against "kafeels" (sponsors) who are falsely declaring that their expatriate workers are "huroub", that is that they have run away from their employers. Sponsors do this to get money from their employees or simply to play with their workers' lives and careers. The Ministry should announce the cancellation of the huroub category and allow the free transfer of sponsorship. May Almighty Allah show the officials of the Ministry of Labor the right path so that they can understand the pain of expatriate workers. And may Almighty Allah give courage to the concerned authorities to fight against the sponsors who are torturing poor expats. Ameen. Mazhar, Online response
