Jumeirah Group unveils exclusive promotions for Saudi families at home and abroad
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 08 - 08 - 2015

JUMEIRAH Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and member of Dubai Holding, is set to welcome large numbers of Saudi families over the peak summer holiday season leading up to Eid Al-Adha.
Saudi travelers are a key driver of the upward trend in family tourism. Based on data from Thompson Reuters, this sector grew to 12.5% of the global tourism market between 2012 and 2013.
The impact of holidaying families from the Kingdom on the international tourism industry is highlighted during Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha, when up to 43% of Saudis prefer to take a vacation abroad.
Saudi Arabia represents the sixth largest source market for Jumeirah, following the UK, UAE, Germany, China and Russia.
The number of Saudi room-nights at Jumeirah Hotels, Resorts and Residences worldwide increased by 35.8% during the first six months of 2015.
The Kingdom is the fifth largest source market for Jumeirah in Dubai as well as in Europe, with an increase of 15.2% and 17.5% respectively in room-nights sold during the first six months of 2015.
Alison Broadhead, Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Saudi Arabia is a significant outbound tourism market for Jumeirah, particularly for family travel.
Through the summer season we anticipate hosting more guests from the Kingdom than ever before. We have identified trends we believe will drive the anticipated increase in Saudi visitors to our properties this summer.
Shopping trips and rest and relaxation are high on the agenda, while some take the opportunity to explore a new destination.
Jumeirah's luxury properties — situated in prime locations across the globe and dedicated to exquisite hospitality — are ideal places for Saudi families to stay.”
Responding to these trends, Jumeirah has introduced a number of special summer packages for Saudi families that offer exceptional value across its hotels globally — from shopping in Dubai and relaxing in the Maldives to exploring Europe.
The “Jumeirah Breaks” package allows guests from the Kingdom to take advantage of an exclusive summer offer at Jumeirah hotels in Dubai with room rates starting from SR505 per night, inclusive of complimentary benefits such as a Careem Chauffeur ride to the nearest mall.
The summer offer is applicable when guests book any room category at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, and Jumeirah Creekside Hotel.
Saudi families keen to explore Dubai's reputation as the spa capital of the Middle East will have the opportunity rejuvenate at the award-winning Talise Spa at Madinat Jumeirah.
Valid across all room categories for a minimum stay of three nights at any of the three hotels within the Arabian-themed Resort — Jumeirah Mina A'Salam, Jumeirah Al Qasr and Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf — the ‘Stay and Spa' package offers guests a choice of one complimentary 60-minute treatment per day.
Breakfast and airport pick-up in a private chauffeur-driven car are also included as part of this package. Affording stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers offers an ideal vacation for those looking to take a break in Abu Dhabi this summer with its majestic beachside location, iconic architecture and art-inspired deluxe boutique-shopping destination ‘Avenue at Etihad Towers'.
Saudi residents will receive 10% off the best available rate as well as a host of complimentary benefits, including daily buffet breakfast and complimentary access to Observation Deck at 300 – Abu Dhabi's highest vantage point.
For the ultimate rest and relaxation holiday, Saudi families need look no further than Jumeirah's two exquisite properties in the Maldives.
Jumeirah Dhevanafushi is offering a complimentary fourth night when guests book three. Packages start from SR13,500 for four nights in a Beach Revive villa, with domestic flights charged at SR1,500 per person, and can be booked until Sept. 22.
Guests will also benefit from 10% off the best available rate at Jumeirah Vittaveli, as well as exclusive complimentary benefits including a private swimming pool with each villa, daily complimentary wellness activities at Talise Spa and access to Kuda Koli Kid's Klub.
Saudi residents looking to explore destinations further afield will find fantastic summer offers at Jumeirah's properties in Europe.
Set along the spectacular coast of the Aegean Sea, the recently opened all-suite and villa Jumeirah Bodrum Palace brings a new standard of luxury to the region.
Travelers from the Kingdom can book one of the hotel's premium suites from SR3,412 per room per night on a bed and breakfast basis.

Families can discover the beauty of Istanbul at Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah, combining timeless glamor and elegance with genuine Turkish hospitality.
The hotel's summer package starts at SR1,029 per room per night for a minimum two-night stay and includes buffet breakfast, special welcome amenities and complimentary access to Spa Soul.
Further north in Germany, Jumeirah Frankfurt, located in the vibrant heart of the city, is offering the spectacular Panoramic Suite from SR1,612 per night on a bed and breakfast basis.
Guests can enjoy the unique Skyline Honey Treatment at Talise Spa, created by the 60,000 bees that reside on the hotel's rooftop. — SG
