Saudi families key focus of Dubai resorts this summer
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 02 - 07 - 2015

JEDDAH — As UAE's tourism continues to expand in 2015, Saudi Arabia is placed as the most important source market for leading Dubai resorts such as Madinat Jumeirah.
To capitalize on this demand, Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Resort of Dubai, has unveiled a number of new summer offers tailored to meet and exceed the needs of travellers from the Kingdom. Based on previous experience, the offers answer the need for spacious accommodation, and an array of dining, leisure and entertainment choices that appeal to large families with varying tastes.
Madinat Jumeirah Resort General Manager Margaret Paul said: “Saudi Arabia is the primary Gulf region source market for Madinat Jumeirah year after year. We welcome an ever growing number of Saudi families at our hotels every month and look forward to offering them the first-class hospitality that our guests return to experience each summer.”
He further said “the Resort caters to everyone – children can feed rehabilitated sea turtles at our turtle lagoon, fashion-conscious ladies can shop for the latest designer fashions and families staying with us have plenty to explore. We look forward to welcoming our Saudi neighbours to Madinat Jumeirah and invite them to experience the ultimate in Arabian hospitality.”
Since opening its doors in 2004, Madinat Jumeirah Resort has established itself as a magnificent tribute to Dubai's rich heritage and the cultural traditions of the UAE. The cool courtyards and shaded spaces of the Arabian architecture create an inviting environment in which to spend the hot summer months. The luxurious resort features two grand boutique hotels Jumeirah Mina A'Salam and Jumeirah Al Qasr featuring the region's largest temperature-controlled pool, the traditional summer houses of Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf and seven exclusive Jumeirah Malakiya Villas.
In 2016, a fourth hotel will open at Madinat Jumeirah Resort. Jumeirah Al Naseem offer an additional 430 luxurious rooms and suites. The Resort's award-winning Talise Fitness is home to two indoor swimming pools, a 25-metre indoor lap pool and a learner pool, and the region's first low oxygen training suite
Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of scenic waterways and paths, the spaciously designed Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf summer houses are reminiscent of old Arabia – offering families every modern comfort in the confines of well-appointed suites and guest rooms. The resort's most luxurious accommodation – the Jumeirah Malakiya Villas – give Saudi families another premium option for a memorable stay.
Madinat Jumeirah's “Stay A Little Longer” offer provides Saudi families the opportunity to enjoy an additional day at the resort from June 1 until Sept. 30, 2015. A high value promotion, the Stay 6, Pay 5 Nights offer includes airport transfers and complimentary breakfast for the entire family, with the option of choosing from Ocean Deluxe rooms in Jumeirah Mina A'Salam and Arabian Deluxe rooms Jumeirah Al Qasr.
Families can also look forward to enjoying a selection of international cuisine at more than 40 world-class restaurants spread across the resort. Moreover, as part of the resort's International Day of Families celebrations, children under 12 years of age can dine free of charge. Arabian flavors at the extremely popular Khaymat Al Bahar Restaurant are just some of the many culinary favourites being served with a personal touch from the kitchens of Madinat Jumeirah's diverse lineup of restaurants.
Catering to Saudi women's love for high fashion and designer labels, Madinat Jumeirah is offering a stylish package in collaboration with the city's premier department store – Harvey Nichols – Dubai. Guests staying a minimum of five nights in a suite at Madinat Jumeirah until July 31, 2015 will receive a pair of designer shoes to the value of AED3,000 from Harvey Nichols – Dubai, located just five minutes from the resort. A private chauffeur will drive guests to the Mall of the Emirates, where a personal shopper from the store will assist in choosing a pair of shoes. A complimentary pedicure at Profile Salon inside the store is also included as part of the package.
Celebrating Dubai's position as the spa capital of the Middle East, Madinat Jumeirah's award-winning Talise Spa offers visitors from Saudi the opportunity to embark on a journey of self-discovery and rejuvenation. Valid across all room categories for a minimum stay of three nights within three hotels of Madinat Jumeirah – Jumeirah Mina A'Salam, Jumeirah Al Qasr and Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf, the Stay and Spa packages offers guests a choice of one complimentary 60-minute experience per day from a selection of treatments. Breakfast and airport pick-up in a private chauffeur driven car are also included as part of this package. — SG
