MUMBAI – SS Rajamouli's blockbuster multi-lingual film “Baahubali” has reportedly collected Rs 500 crore ($78 million) in the three weeks since its release on July 10, NDTV reported. “Baahubali,” which features Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, released across 4,000 screens worldwide, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages. The movie also features Ramya Krishna, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the lead roles, and is touted as one of the most expensive films made in the country with a reported budget of approximately Rs 200 crore. The film has been appreciated for its visual and other special effects. It is a period action drama that took nearly three years to complete. However, the film left the narrative incomplete as a second part is expected to release next year. – Agencies
