RIYADH — A Pakistani national was executed in the Kingdom on Friday for drug trafficking, the Interior Ministry announced. Shah Faisal Azim Shah had been convicted of smuggling a large quantity of heroin into the country, said a ministry statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. He was executed in Thadeq governorate in Riyadh Province. On Thursday, Syrian national Qassim Mohammed Al-Hilal was executed in Huraimlah governorate, also in Riyadh Province, for smuggling a large amount of amphetamine pills into the country.
