JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on Saturday left for a private vacation abroad, the Royal Court announced.
Before his departure King Salman deputized Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, "to administer the affairs of the State and take care of the interests of the people," the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted a Royal Order as saying.
At King Abdulaziz International Airport, the King was seen off by several senior princes and high ranking military and civil officials.
The King is accompanied by Prince Khalid Bin Fahd; Prince Mansour Bin Saud; Prince Fahd Bin Abdullah; Prince Dr. Hossam Bin Saud; Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulrahman; Prince Khalid Bin Salman; Prince Naif Bin Salman; and Prince Rakan Bin Salman.
The King was also accompanied by Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel Bin Zaid Al-Turaifi and a number of civilian and military officials.
