Waqar Naseem Wamiq RIYADH — A mango party was hosted by Sarhan Mustafa , program manager of Bazm-e Riaz. Head of Chancery of Pakistan Embassy Abbas Sarwar Qureshi was the chief guest of the occasion. Mango is considered to be the king of fruits and the national fruit of Pakistan. It's aroma attracts instantly and it's sweetness & juicy pulp brings utmost mouthwatering taste to the fruit lovers. Mango lovers around the globe wait for its season to come round the year and they celebrate and enjoy it individually and at parties. A variety of Pakistani mangoes were served at the party including world-renowned Chaunsa, Sindhri and Anwar Ratole. The mango party was attended by the key members of the Bazm including Riaz Rathore, Tasadduq Gillani, Hassan Mehdi, Nadeem Malik, Adeel Hassan and Shafiq Khawaja.. A traditional ceremony to honor the guests was also conducted by the host of the party Sarhan Mustafa, a certified chef and international business & marketing expert by profession. Sarhan distributed gifts to his guests and in his traditional hospitality he gifted mangoes, bottles of organic juices, Zamzam water and Sattu ( a typical Punjabi ingredient for a cold drink ). Speaking as the chief guest of the party Abbas highlighted the features of a variety of Pakistani mangoes and said “Pakistani mangoes hold a special place in the global market because of it's aromatic fragrance and sweet taste.” “Pakistan is among the top mango producers and a major mango exporter to the world. With hundreds of varieties of mangoes being grown in Pakistan it exports many of them,” Abbas added. In his vote of thanks, Sarhan emphasized the need to uphold traditions while enjoying a healthy life by using organic foods and fruits.
