TURAIF — An Ethiopian maid was saved at the last minute following a failed suicide attempt here, said Northern Frontier Red Crescent spokesman Musaad Al-Anazi. The maid, aged 40 years old, tried to hang herself by a rope. Her employer was shocked when she entered her room and found her lying motionless on the floor as the rope got cut off. She immediately called 997 and paramedics were dispatched to the scene and performed CPR on the maid as her heart had completely stopped beating and there was breathing. However, they continued performing CPR until they restored her heat beat before taking her to Turaif General Hospital.
