RIYADH — The "Ekhaa" Campaign (#Minkom_Wfikom) recorded remarkable attention from all categories of society on social networking (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram), where all reacted by providing contribution, donation, encouragment, support or plain good wishes. The campaign was launched by Majed Al Qasabi, minister of social affairs, at the beginning of Ramadan. It attracted the attention and participation of several social, media and art personalities and celebrities on Twitter, i.e. Sheikh Adel Al Kalbani, artist Fayez Al Malki, Faisal Al Jafn, Mohamed AL Nuaisser, CEO of Saudi Professional League, Saleh Al Saleh, Dr. Ahmad Al Aarfaj, Khalaf Malfi, Salah Al Ghaidan, Capt. Ali Kumaikh, Manif Al Harbi, Khater Al Khater, Hamad Al Suilihi, Adel Al Twaijri, Fahad Al Roqi, Sultan Al Mahus, Alia Al Dais, in addition to several influential accounts on Twitter. "Ekhaa" Campaign (#Minkom_Wfikom) includes several events presentation of Ekhaa activities, programs and its role in benefiting orphans. This campaign is an incentive to virtuous and people contributing to charity to make use of Ramadan to support the projects of Ekhaa with charities all along the month of Ramadan. It is a direct message to maintain solidarity of society. Ekhaa provides care for above 2,300 male and female orphans, distributed in 9 branches, all over the provinces of the Kingdom. The provided services include: Accommodation and catering, education and scholarship, training and employment, family care, education, financial, in kind and urgent funds, help in marriage, Haj and Umrah and other services that provide means of ease, psychological and social peace for all targeted categories, i.e. singles, married, divorced or widows and their children.
