12 people injured in Riyadh car crash

RIYADH — A total of 12 people were injured in a car crash on Al-Saleel-Riyadh Highway. Riyadh Red Crescent spokesman Abdullah Al-Miraibidh said two cars carrying families crashed into each other. Passersby transported five of the victims to hospital. Three of the victims were seriously injured and four others suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, three people were injured in an accident on Khoua Road in Sakaka. Al-Jouf Red Crescent spokesman Hamdan Al-Dhuwaihi said Red Crescent ambulances transferred two of the victims, one of them suffering from serious injuries, to Prince Miteb Hospital. The other victim was treated on the spot.
