Syed Mussarat Khalil Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Tahseemul Haq Haqqi, welfare consular at Consulate General of Pakistan, said my aim is to serve the community through welfare. “Service to mankind is service to Allah. The greatest service to Allah is service of mankind, Haqqi said while delivering a address recently. He was speaking at a function organized by Pakistan National Circle (PNC) Jeddah chapter, a reputable social and welfare forum of overseas Pakistanis at the resident of Riaz Bajwa President and Acting Chairman of PNC in Aziziyah recently. Haqqi, who graced the occasion as the chief guest, said, “Ramadan is a joyous month full of blessing and forgiveness. I beg Almighty Allah to accept all our prayers and charities and bestow peace and prosperity for the mankind of the universe. “During the month of Ramadan, we are offered an amazing opportunity to come closer to the Almighty through fasting, acts of worship and charity,” he added. He praised and appreciated the welfare services of PNC for community. He performed the opening ceremony of Ramadan food packs of PNC for the needy and poor person for Pakistanis as well as Muslim community. He assured his and consulate support and cooperation in the welfare projects of PNC. Earlier Bajwa welcomed all the guests and thanked the consulate for its continuous support and cooperation. He also thanked to welfare consular for joining in the PNC Ramadan Food Pack opening ceremony at his resident. Bajwa said these 300 Ramadan Food Packs included necessary food items such as cooking oil, sugar, rice, flour, roohafza drink, milk, tea, lentils, dates and will be distributed at various area around Aziziyah, Industrial area and Gulilal district. Chaudhry Mohammad Riaz Ghumman senior advisor of PNC also spoke on the occasion. He appealed to the members to give charity to PNC. Malik Munawwar, vice president, Affan Riaz Bajwa, general & finance secretary, Chaudhry Murtaza Ghumman, legal advisor, Usman Ghumman, communication secretary, Dr. Khalil-ul-Rehman, president Pakistan Welfare Society (PWS) were also present.
