MANILA — The top-seeded Alaska Aces overhauled a 16-point deficit to send the Barangay Ginebra Kings crashing out of the PBA Governors' Cup with a 114-108 playoffs victory Friday night. The win lifted the Aces to the best-of-5 semifinals against the winner of the Star versus GlobalPort sudden-death Sunday. Following their rousing win over the NLEX Road Warriors Tuesday that kept them alive, the Kings appeared to be back on the winning track in the first half and early in the third quarter where they led the Aces, 65-49.
