PARIS - French President Francois Hollande held wide ranging talks with Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, at Elysee Palace here on Wednesday. Welcoming Prince Muhammad, Hollande highlighted the strong and historic relations between the two countries. On his part, the deputy crown prince conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to Hollande, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Their talks covered the entire gamut of political, economic and military fields, in addition to the major developments in the region and the world. The two leaders reviewed the bilateral relations and discussed ways to further strengthen them, especially in the fields of scientific and technical cooperation, investment, cooperation in the field of using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, and industrial cooperation. The meeting was attended from the Saudi side by Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Economy and Planning Adel Fakeih, Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Minister of Culture and Information Adel Al-Turaifi and several other senior officials.
