RIYADH — The Passport Department (Jawazat) announced the number of Yemenis whose residency status has been rectified has reached 128,601 as of Thursday. The department said Maj. Gen. Sulaiman Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, director general of the Passport Department, instructed all Jawazat offices to help all illegal Yemenis living in the Kingdom rectify their residency status. The Jawazat formed an integrated administrative team supported with staff and technological capabilities in regional Jawazat offices and rectification centers to serve Yemeni nationals. The Passport Department called on citizens and expatriates to benefit from its electronic services.
