RIYADH — Residency status of 40,635 Yemenis has been rectified since the beginning of the campaign earlier this month, the Passports Department said on Thursday. The department also called on Yemenis who fulfill the requirements for their residency in the Kingdom to avail of the directives from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. The department said rectification centers have witnessed a huge increase in the number of applicants and that the status of over 40,000 Yemeni residents has been rectified. It said that it is diligently monitoring the course of work in the rectification centers through field visits by the department officials. The National Information Center is assisting the department in providing its services to the citizens and expatriates including Yemeni nationals. The Passports Department also called on Yemenis to seek the help of its website www.gdp.gov.sa. to fulfill the requirements essential for rectification of their status.
