RIYADH — Top teams advanced in the Prince Sultan T20 Cup tournament at Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) Complex here recently.
Chanar-XI got the better of SACO by 50 runs. Batting first, Chanar made 121 with Muneer scoring 39. Salim and Vipin claimed 2 wickets each. In reply, SACO collapsed for 71. Kasim hit 18 and Imran 17. Tarek took 3 wickets, while Jabran, Muneer and Farat took 2 each. Man of the Match: Muneer.
Run Riders beat United-XI by 9 wickets. United-XI posted 157. Azhar made 33 and Shuja 47. Shakeel bagged 3 wickets. Run Riders was home in 12.8 overs. Rayees scored 29, Shakeel 69 and Minhaj 49. Man of the Match: Shakeel.
Riyadh Pirates defeated Detecon Rising Stars by 16 runs. Pirates put on 226.
Tahir scored 97 with 13 boundaries and 2 sixes. Yasir Moin added 45. Omar took 2 wickets. Detecon Rising Stars could score only 210. Umer hit 24, Maqsood 41, Wali 59 and Ahmed 38. Saadat took 3 wickets. Man of the Match: Tahir.
OSN Warriors got the better of NAZ-XI by 54 runs. Batting first, Warriors made 196 with Zahiruddin Khalid (35), Tahir (23), Mazhar (43) and Taousif (52) among the runs. Basith, Asim, Kashif and Shafiq claimed a wicket each. In reply, NAZ was bowled out for 142. Qaiser made 20 and Amir 33. Rafay claimed 4 wickets, while Shakeel and Imtiaz took 2 each. Pakhtunkhwa downed Super by 40 runs. Pakhtunkhwa etched 230 runs with Arshad scoring 44, Sher Alam 30, Farhan 26, Khalid 65 and Jameel 30. Mudassar claimed 3 wickets. Super was bundled out for 190. Rashid Mirza made 46, Shahid 59 and Abid Meraj 30. Iqbal took 3 wickets and Khalid 1. Man of the Match: Khalid.
South Indian Stunners edged Pak Cricket Club by one wicket. Pak compiled 174 with Waseem Khan making 81 and Jamal 30. Farukh and Shoaib claimed 2 wickets each. South Indian reached home on the last ball. Waseem and Lateef scored 31 each and Yunus 24. Malik bagged 3 wickets and Jamal 2. Man of the Match: Waseem.
Jamia thrashed Fakhar-e-Afghan by 7 wickets. Fakhar-e-Afghan posted 121. Asad hit 25 and Imran 19. Imran scalped 3 wickets, while Mushtaq and Tawqer took 2 each. Jamia achieved the target in 12 overs. Mushtaq made 15, Ejaz 39 and Javed 25. Asad, Inaam and Hannan claimed a wicket each. Man of the Match: Mushtaq.
Shaheen-XI beat Riyadh Avengers by 15 runs. Shaheen posted 187. Nabeel hit 42, Shakeel 35, Jamshed 26 and Rashid 45. Zahid took 3 wickets. In reply, Riyadh Avengers was restricted to 172. Man of the Match: Rashid.
Derab Golf Cricket Club got the better of Sagar by 64 runs. Derab scored 224 with Yousuf Haroon blasting 154 with 24 boundaries.
Aurangzeb added 13 and Islam 15. Salman took 3 wickets. Sagar was sent packing for 160. Salman made 48 and Anwar Zaib 42. Imran scalped 3 wickets. Man of the Match: Yousuf Haroon. — SG
