Saudi Gazette report JEDDAH — Two soldiers were killed on Monday in mortar shell attacks by Houthi rebels in Dhahran Al-Janoub in the southern Asir region. Lance Corporal Ali Muhammad Al-Raithi of the National Guard and Corporal Muhammad Ali Hakami of the Border Guards were martyred when they were hit by mortal shells fired from inside Yemen, according to a statement from the coalition command. The attack happened at around 8.40 a.m. on the border posts in Dhahran Al-Janoub, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Meanwhile, Prince Muhammad Bin Nasser, emir of Jazan region, visited on Monday a number of injured soldiers at King Fahd Central Hospital Jazan and Samta General Hospital. The armed forces personnel sustained injuries in Houthi attacks while they were performing the duty of safeguarding the Kingdom's border with Yemen. Prince Muhammad inquired about their health. He also conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and other leaders to them. The soldiers thanked the emir and expressed their readiness to sacrifice their lives in order to protect the nation. Prince Muhammad also visited the house of Corporal Tayyib Ali Minqari, who was martyred in Houthi attacks while on duty on the border area recently. The emir conveyed the condolences of King Salman to them.
