Saudi Gazette report DAMMAM — Forensic officers have completed identifying the remains of four victims who died in a suicide bombing near a Dammam mosque on Friday. According to Al-Hayat newspaper on Monday, the bodies of those who died in the attack on Imam Hussain Mosque in Al-Anoud District will be handed over to their respective families for burial. The house of the mosque imam Sheikh Ali Al-Nasser Al-Samman has been chosen as a temporary location for people coming from other parts of the Kingdom to offer their condolences until a permanent site is fixed after the burial. “We will build a big tent for the victims' families to receive condolences,” said Jassim Al-Musharaf, head of the voluntary committee formed by residents to finalize burial arrangements. He said the committee was coordinating with security authorities to receive the dead bodies for burial. Musharaf said voluntary committees from Al-Qudaih village in Qatif region and Al-Dalwah village in Al-Ahsa region, where similar crimes were committed, have offered help for the construction of the tent and the burial procedures. He added: “We, the residents of the Eastern Province and the families of the victims have full confidence and fully support the leadership and the government in their drive to obliterate terrorism. “The instigators of dissension should realize this fact and stop their criminal attempts to divide the country on a sectarian basis.” Meanwhile, spokesman of Eastern Province Police Col. Ziyad Al-Riqaiti said coordination has been made with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance to strengthen security measures near mosques in the region. He said security measures would be particularly strengthened during the holy month of Ramadan when people usually go to the mosques for all prayers, especially taraweeh (late evening prayers). The surveillance cameras of Imam Hussain Mosque filmed the entire incident, from the arrival of the terrorist at the car parking lot until the explosion.
