JEDDAH — Mövenpick located in Madinah Road held a conference recently about the hotel's six-month training course on Saudization.
Opening the conference, MovenPick General Manager Omar Boujlid discussed the training course that will be provided to Saudi youth working in Movenpick branches in Saudi Arabia.
The training course includes Young Hotelier Program, English Language Program, Cross Functional Exposure and Cross Training, and Leadership courses and other subjects such as fire safety.
According to Khalid Jamaan, Administration and Security manager, Movenpick has spent long period to develop mechanisms to further enhance professionalism in the hospitality industry.
The programs are divided into eight specific tiers based on extensive surveys and studies. The training courses are aimed at achieving 30 percent Saudization target by the third quarter of 2015.
