Mövenpick Saudi Development Center, a unique training and internship program implemented exclusively for Saudi employees by the international upscale hotel management company, recently commenced and deputed eight participants from nine operating Mövenpick properties in the Kingdom to undergo a three-week Security training. Staged for the third time at Mövenpick Hotel Al Khobar, the program aims to enhance the skills of the employees through valuable cross exposure and sharing of best practices. This December, a special and very edifying training on bombing prevention was conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Falah Al-Ajmi of General Security, coordinated by Mövenpick Hotel Al Khobar's Director of Security, Issa Al Marhoon. The main objective of the session is to enhance the awareness and effectiveness of the team in managing bombing incidents through analysis of current strategies on detection and mitigation. Lieutenant Colonel Al-Ajmi acquainted the whole team on the different types of weapons and bombs, and instructed on the vital procedures to take when explosives are detected. – SG
