JEDDAH — Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN), working under the patronage of the Consulate General of India, felicitated a group of Saudi businessmen who attended a recently concluded Global Exhibition on Services in New Delhi, India.
Many Saudi businessmen in the 30-member delegation visited India for the first time. But they fell in love with the country and its rich cultural diversity.
"It was my first visit, but definitely it won't be my last," said Dr. Hani Hasan Fetyani, CEO of HHF Development Consultants.
Adnan Zagzoog, who is in talks with the Taj group of hotels, to establish their franchise hotel in Makkah, shared his experience and requested the consul general of India to organize many more such tours for Saudi businessmen.
Ali Muhaidib lauded the work of SIBN in trying to bridge the gap by bringing together parties from both countries.
Consul General B.S. Mubarak said India is definitely a preferred choice for manpower-related services.
Syed Ahmed Abdul Qader, who signed four agreements with the Indian companies, acknowledged that India is on a progressive path, especially in services, but awareness of the same needs to be spread and promoted.
Riaz Mulla, Dr. Ahmad Al-Attas, Yousuf Alsmadi, also shared their experiences and expressed willingness to contribute to SIBN activities.
Consul (Commerce & Community Welfare) SRH Fahmi announced that new exhibitions like Gems and Jewellery Show in Mumbai and Dubai, Garments and Apparel exhibition in Delhi, Tourism show in Jeddah, Seminars on Power and business regulations, etc. will be coming up in India for the benefit of Saudi and Indian businessmen. The program started with a welcome speech by Vijay Soni, SIBN treasurer.
Asim Zeeshan presented the GES report highlighting facts, achievements and opportunities. Zakaria Biladi managed the event.
SIBN Executive Secretary Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki presented a vote of thanks. He highly appreciated the Al-Abeer Group for their contribution in making a brochure for SIBN 2015.
