JEDDAH — Public schools throughout the Kingdom have started their final examination periods except for Asir, Najran and Jazan, Al-Watan reported. Jeddah Department of Education's Director General Abdullah Al-Thagafi said Jeddah public schools are preparing to set exams for 650,000 students. He said: “We are very diligent about providing the right environment and atmosphere for our students during the final exams. “The examination halls are equipped with comfortable air conditioning and professional spectators. “The spectators will be reporting on the examination proceedings on a daily basis.” He added more than 400 educational supervisors would tour the schools to ensure everything was in order. Qassim Education Directorate reported more than 80,000 students in 700 different schools are preparing for final exams. Yanbu Department of Education's Director General Mujab Al-Zahrani said there are more than 32,000 students in 206 schools in the city. “The schools are preparing for the final exams by preparing examination halls and reviewing question papers,” said Al-Zahrani. — SG
