based International Baccalaureate (IB), which offers high-quality international education program, has identified the GCC region as a key growth area for IB programs. Dr. Monique Seefried, second from left, chair of the IB Board of Governors, said during a visit to Dubai recently to attend the IB governance meeting, that IB “is encouraged by the great interest shown by schools in the GCC region.” She added that “IB is proud of its long-standing reputation for high-quality education, and … we are keen to develop access to IB programs in other parts of the world such as this region, which we have identified as a key growth area.” Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, center, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, was the Guest of Honor at the special event that was held under the theme “International Mindedness and the Arabic-speaking world”.
