Don't wait for permanent residency in Saudi Arabia

With regard to the article “An expat's optimism for the Kingdom” (May 20), I am not so optimistic about permanent residency or citizenship being granted in Saudi Arabia. For more than 20 years, I have heard about a point-system for granting citizenship or permanent residency. My advice is not to waste your time trying for the impossible. Instead, try your luck elsewhere, where your efforts and services are valued and recognized.
