ABHA — Three workers of a contracting company were swept away by flash floods following heavy rain that lashed Farsha Qahtan area in Tihama Asir in the southern Asir region for two days. The incident occurred as the workers were working on a road project in the region. Equipment and instruments used in the road work were also swept away. Civil Defense units from Dhahran Jonoub and Farsha are continuing search operations to retrieve the bodies of the workers. Meanwhile, a man drowned in a check dam in Ahad Rufaidah. Civil Defense divers were able to retrieve the body of the young man who has yet to be identified.
