‘Saudi Power 2015' showcases latest trends as market widens

RIYADH – Under the Patronage of the Minister of Water & Electricity Eng. Abdullah Bin Abdulrahman Al Hussayen, Dr. Saleh Bin Hussein Al Awaji, Deputy Minister For Water & Electricity, launched the Saudi Power 2015 exhibition on May 11 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RIEC), hosting 158 local and international exhibitors from 28 countries.
The Saudi Power 2015 supports specialized national businesses achieve greater progress through broader exposure to the latest offerings and technologies in the related fields, and also offers the opportunity for companies across the globe to generate business and networking opportunities.
“We are glad to participate at the Saudi Power exhibition to offer total power solutions that cover the needs of the market. We will offer off-grid and on-grid solutions.
We are keen to increase awareness about our power solutions and brand,” said Kristian Wallgreen, Business Development Manager of Hauzen Arabia.
“This is our second time to participate at the Saudi Power. Our solutions vary from small to large generators of a capacity of 2 KVA up to 3600 KVA.
Our solutions can meet the needs of various segments including individuals, hospitals, schools, banks, manufacturing plants and many others.
We are looking forward to receive important business requests and sign good deals during the exhibition,” said Nader Necola, Trading Division Manager of Abatco.

Saudi Arabia plans to invest more than $80 billion in electric power sector by the end of 2020, with the aim of increasing production capacity, development of transport networks and stations, and all associated systems, Sawary Energy Vice President Sami Akeel said in an earlier published report.
Noting the great challenges faced by the sector, he said the Kingdom needs to add about 5,000MW annually, and that 1000MW need around $4 billion investments.
Furthermore, specialized companies from around the world are granted the opportunity to discuss potential business deals and communicate with industry peers and promote their latest products and technology.
Being the largest showcase of the power sector's prospects and trends, Saudi Power effectively contributes to the industry development efforts.
The Saudi Power is supported by the Saudi Arabian Solar Industries Association (SASIA), the Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA), Middle East Association, and the Solar GCC Alliance.
It enjoys a notable international interest translated in the participation of major national and international pavilions.
