Dallas upsets LA Galaxy

DALLAS — Dallas FC scored twice in the last 13 minutes Saturday to come from behind and beat the reigning Major League Soccer (MLS) champion Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1. The win lifted Dallas FC to a share of first place in the Western Conference standings, level on 20 points with Vancouver, while the Galaxy slipped to sixth place after its third away loss of the season. Vancouver beat a 10-man Philadelphia 3-0 to edge ahead of Dallas on goal difference. New England gave up two late goals to draw 2-2 with Orlando. DC United, level on points with New England, drew 1-1 with Sporting Kansas City. In other matches, Portland posted a 2-1 victory over Montreal and Columbus Crew edged Seattle Sounders 3-2. — Reuters
