21 schoolgirls injured in fire

MADINAH — A total of 21 students were injured due to a fire at Al-Thalitha Wa Al-Eshreen Girls School in Al-Qiblatain District. Madinah Education Department spokesman Anbar Al-Barnawi said the fire started at the school's arts facility and the Civil Defense evacuated the school and all neighboring schools. He added that 17 students received first aid on the spot while four of the students fainted and were taken to King Fahd Hospital.
